[Point in time taken from canon] chapter 142, just before their match in the Winter Cup
[Background]

[Personality]
Tetsuya is a pretty reserved and serious guy most of the time. He’s used to his weak presence making him near invisible so he reserves talking for when he feels the need to do so or when he has a point to make. When the time comes he's straightforward and pretty honest about things while still being polite. He treats most everyone politely, even those he knows very well. He's the type that tries to think on the bright side and supports people when he can but even he can get be susceptible to feeling down after something big or unavoidable happens.
Despite his polite personality, if there’s one thing that he hates it’s losing. He tends to surprise people sometimes with how determined and unrelenting he can be. When it’s basketball it’s almost near impossible to bench him unless for good reasons even he can’t ignore. Example, get hit in the head and bleed a little? Can still totally play, even if it’s only a practice match against another team. This also expands into others things as well if the challenge is made to him specifically, he'll try until no longer able.
He loves basketball and it shows in that he doesn’t like foul play and those that try to abuse and hurt others through the sport. It’s truly one of the only things that really sets him off and makes him mad. If he sees it happening just nearby, he'll try and stop it even if he can't do much on his own; If it happens in-game then he channels that anger into motivation and determination to beat the opposing team.
Tetsuya says he has no sense of humor but this is not true, rather his sense of humor relies on deadpan. Being true to the term deadpan, he likes to make comments sometimes without much change in voice or facial expression. Despite this though, he’s not a very creative person as shown when coming up with nicknames or names in general usually going for
Being able to commit to something and be passionate about it is a trait in people that he can easily admire and relate to. It’s something he holds as very important in how well he might get along with someone and friends. As someone who didn't always have a talent for basketball, he can easily relate to those people that try their hardest doing the thing they love. There was a time where he didn't think himself good enough to be on a basketball team at all. His weak presence, overall mediocre physical abilities as well as his skill for the basics made it obvious to him; he loved the sport but wasn't talented enough to play competitively like he wanted. It wasn't until luck made its move when Akashi taught him into using his lack of presence as a tool to play that he regained confidence. His moments of doubt come back only a few times but are still with him.
[Abilities]
Misdirection: the ability to divert someone’s attention away from him. Also helps that he seems to be practically invisible just in general.
All other abilities are basketball related and are in his wiki
[Other important stuff]
VERY WEAK PRESENCE BASUKE PERSON with mediocre physical abilities. Also loves vanilla shakes.
[Sample post]
[First Person]
1.)What do you think of your home world?
It's very normal.
2.) You are forced onto the dance floor and you MUST dance or the most important person or thing will be destroyed. What do you end up dancing and to what music?
That would be strange…
[Just a bit of a look before it goes away]
But I suppose it would be to pop music, though I don't know how to dance so it would be made up on the spot.
3.) You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?
I would respectfully decline it. In the first place I don’t think I would have done something to upset them so there would be no reason for a fight. And I would lose with in a minute without a doubt.
4.) Do you believe you can fly? Do you believe you can touch the sky?
Yes, I can grow wings when I want to.
[Stretches his arms as if in example but nothing happens. Nope not serious at all but his look remains relatively unchanged]
5.) Would you consider yourself a hero or a villain? Why? Neither is an option as well, but still tell why.
Neither. I’m just a person with no special ability. Even if you were to assume that I did, I would be the back-up supporting someone else in the light as their shadow to the best of my capabilities.
6.) Do you have any future goals or dreams? What are they?
Yes, I do, to make my basketball team number one in Japan.
[The answer was almost instant]
7.) Am I asking too many personal or strange questions?
Yes.
[to both of those but he’s still answering because why not, plus this person talked to him first]
[Third Person]
It was, strange. Tetsuya had found himself in a strange situation from the first moment he had woken up in Somarium a week ago. Even now it still feels surreal from time to time, but going through the motions and waking up in an apartment were things he couldn’t deny. If anything it was actually kind of lonely. He was used to being unnoticed but it was another thing to be in a new place all over again not knowing anyone.
Still, there wasn’t much he could do about his situation as much as he didn’t want to admit it. The few good things was the possibility of waking up, some people he know coming here, and that this place has basketball courts. All that was left was falling into routine to get his mind off of things. With that he decided to join the school even though there was no need to, if anything it gave him something to do and it wouldn't hurt him in anyway. He would try and think of it as extra studying for when he got back home.
Tetsuya had just gotten done practicing for the afternoon when he started to pack his things up. Nothing was better than a shake after a long practice run of techniques, he didn't want to be behind when he went back and it was fun, even if without his friends and teammates. His team was in the middle of an important tournament after all, he couldn't slack off and wouldn't want to anyway as it was as fun as it was a challenge. Carrying his small gym back as he made his way over to the nearby fastfood restaurant he made his official go-to place. Entering, he got in the short line and waited for his turn.
“Next person please.”
Tetsuya stepped forward while looking at the menu despite being familiar with most everything by now. There were a lot of different types of food it still surprised him a bit, but it was just another thing he would need to get used to in his stay here.
“... Next person?” the cashier raised her voice as if to get the attention of the man behind him.
“Yes, I’m right here,” Kuroko replied calmly. It was a routine he was more than used to after all, a fact that hadn’t changed despite being surrounded by many strange people.
“W-What the- I mean what can I get for you today?” the girl at the counter asked trying to regain her composure as quickly as possible.
“One medium vanilla shake please.”
“Alright, would you like anything else?”
“No thank you, that’ll be it.”
“You’re order comes to 1.50 Dream Points.”
“I know and thank you very much.”
Tetsuya Kuroko took his receipt and move just off to the side for the next person to order. The truth was he’d been to this store ever since his first day here so he knew the price well and had even met the same cashier person more than once. Still, it was again something he was used to and it made the lonely feeling come back. It was part of how he is able to play basketball which made him happy but it really was like he was starting over again from the beginning.
His number being called and getting his shake managed to cheer him up a little as he left while drinking in the nice simple flavor of vanilla. Either way, he'd made up his mind. He couldn't make his team number one in Japan while in Somarium, but he could try and form a team for people to play for fun. It's only been a week since he arrived but the lack of people playing sports of any kind seemed slim so maybe someone needed to take the first step? A small smile made its way onto his face as he continued on his way home. Seems like he had some things to plan out in the meantime here.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] I’ve always been wanting to app a completely normal character into Som that has no fighting ability to see how’d they adapt and Kuroko just jumped at me.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] no god-modding
[Any questions?] Nope
